What are the chances that So. Africa will be unable to fulfill host duties and this tournament will end up in the USA?
Assuming the games are in So. Africa - what times will matches be broadcast in the Eastern USA? [NY = Johannesburg - 6 hrs, I believe]

Dave,
Knowing FIFA, they’ll broadcast the matches so they’re shown during primetime in Europe so they can get the most money for TV rights. That means that games will be shown on a similar schedule to Euro 2008… probably Noon and 2:45pm ET.
As for South Africa, they’ll probably scrape by and have everything done at the last minute.
Cheers,
The Gaffer
