The United States based Spanish language television network Univision has recently announced they’ll be offering soccer fans a “comprehensive interactive experience” on their new site when they stream all 64 World Cup matches this summer for free in addition to an already available free iPhone application.
UnivisionFutbol.com currently provides coverage in the form of videos, blogs, photos, social media fan pages and plenty of articles to get fans ready for this summer. Once the tournament starts, fans in the US and Puerto Rico will then be able to access the site and stream all 64 World Cup matches for free in HD.
All the great extra content soccer enthusiasts are familiar with will of course be available at the site during the World Cup such as real time game stats, player and coach interviews and exclusive behind the scenes video of players. President of Univision Interactive Media Inc. Kevin Conroy has set the bar high for this summer’s online experience, “we are delivering on our commitment to offering an unparalleled interactive sports experience“.
With potentially hundreds of thousands of soccer fans flooding to the Internet and mobile devices in under a month, Univision will look to capitalize on the unrivaled demand for World Cup matches with their impressive offerings. “Our aim is to make our soccer and sports sites the top destination for Hispanic sports fans no matter what device they are using by offering them the best coverage, content and stats within a community-oriented environment that allows them to share their passion with each other“.
The aforementioned app has been available in the Apple iTunes App store for free since April. The app itself is entirely in Spanish and is somewhat similar to that of the The Official England App that was recently reviewed at EPL Talk.
For soccer fans who prefer the online experience to view the World Cup, there may not be a better place to go than UnivisionFutbol.com to catch every goal, save and dramatic moment from this summer’s World Cup.
For soccer fans who don’t currently have cable or satellite TV at their disposal, UnivisionFutbol.com may become an outright necessity to your World Cup viewing summer.

i dont have cable tv, but espn3 will be offering the games so that is a plus as well for the majority of us (english speakers).
