Horrible mistake by Julio Cesar, who is supposed to be one of the best goalkeepers in the tournament. Completely fluffed it.

Congratulations to Holland on a well-deserved win! An incredible, stunning victory for the Netherlands.
Brazil, on the day, were the second best team and couldn’t concentrate on playing. They seemed more focused on disputing calls.

I wonder if the Netherlands still would have won if Dunga hadn’t played Dani Alves?
I think they would have still won. Brazil had a bad performance throughout the team today. And Holland didn’t even play as well as they normally can.
There’ll be a lot of partying going on tonight by Dutch people around the world.

Yes. Perhaps. So we have a good chance for a rematch of either ’74 or ’78. Fun.
I think Brazil played just fine during the first half. The own goal by Melo is what turned the tide and they couldn’t do anything after that. Melo also getting red carded for being an idiot also let his team down by leaving them with only 10 players.
