Times have gotten so bad for England and the Football Association that they’ve launched a new England home jersey that features, for the first time, sponsorship on the front of the shirt.
The Football Association is in such deep financial trouble that they had to resort to not one, but three different sponsors to buy space on the front of the jersey. A spokesman close to the deal said that the sponsors represent the dawn of a new age in English football.

‘The combination of these three corporate giants perfectly captures the ethos of the England side,’ said an FA spokesman. ‘After all, they had nothing in the tank when it counted, and they’ve proved themselves to be a bunch of expensive posers who always fail to deliver.’
However, one criticism has been made of the design of the new England kit with claims that the neck hole was inexplicably too small for the heads of the Premiership stars. Players say this will make it very hard to pull the shirt off during an over-exuberant goal celebration, but a spokesman for the manufacturers said ’we don’t envisage this being a problem.’
Three sponsors? That looks very tacky.
fcuk? what the….?
It won’t be long before Premiership teams will be doing the same. What team wouldn’t want to get two or three shirt sponsors, or even shorts sponsors, to help balance the books.
Do none of you commenters besides TT get it?…
The FCUK should have an E.D. at the end of it.
