BBC has produced a video highlighting the exit of France from the 2010 World Cup (thanks to 101 Great Goals for the video).
To me, it’s a video that sums up how awful France was during this tournament both on and off the pitch. And what a disgrace they were to World football.
However, I find it interesting that the French soccer fans seem very silent on the matter. Where are they? I’m sure they’re upset after everything that has happened, but I find it interesting that they have not been demonstrating much about the FFF on message boards, blogs or other places. At least where I’ve been looking.

French fans have been plenty vocal as has their media. Hint: Try French languages sites.
BTW, too bad BBC didn’t include Domenech launching into a vindictive tirade instead of shaking Perreira’s hand after their last match with South Africa. That was really the perfect capper for their performance at this World Cup & would’ve been a great ending to this video.
Le Monde has a web poll up about the debacle of the French National Team:
(my translation)
According to you, who is mainly responsible for the debacle of the French National Team at the World Cup?
Domenech: 23.4%
The players: 30.6%
The French Football Federation: 24.4.%
The ball: 4.8%
The vuvuzelas: 16.8%
Votes: 74643
(end translation)
So, discounting the joke answers, it looks like a clear majority of folks voting in this poll, FWIW, blame management rather than the players.
Hi Nick,
I blame FFF the most for 2 reasons:
1) Why stick to Domenech while knowing he failed in Euro 2008 and got lucky with the playoffs controversial win over Ireland?
2) Why announce Blanc as next Coach before WC2010 starts? Wait till after WC to give Domenech some authority. By doing this, the FFF weakened the unpopular Domenech even further!
After FFF, I’d blame the players because what they did is unacceptable and disrespectful to France, the supporters of France and even football fans in general. Obviously, Domenech must share with the blame for his bad tactics, clueless selections and for excluding Vieira, Benzema and Nasri.
